I made some oatmeal guava bars last Sunday for a party we were hosting. The recipe is from my "Dulce" cookbook. They were easy to make and tasted delicious. My mom brought me some guava paste from Miami which I whipped until it was a spreadable consistency. I will definitely make these again.
Charles made a quiche using the eggs from our chickens, chantrelles he harvested from the woods, and goat cheese & chard from the farmer's market. Yum, yum, yum. Not even one piece was left over.
